Day #18- Friday Date Day - 28 Days of Self Love

It's day 18 of 28 Days of Self Love and it's the 3rd Friday date day! Each Friday we suggest a different idea for you to go on a date with yourself.  Today we want you to have a spa day! That can include going out to get a mani or pedi, facial, or massage.

For the past 4 years I've done my own mani and pedi, partially because I needed every cent of my money to go towards bills or my children but also because I decided that I wanted to do those things for myself.

For years I paid others to care for my hands and my feet and my hair and when I went natural I wanted to extend that to other parts of my body.  I've enjoyed taking care of myself in that way but today I am going to get my first pedicure in a few years and I'm excited.

I decided to get my first book on my reading list from BAM-Books A Million, go get my pedicure and then take myself out to lunch.  I'm excited to spend this time with me!
